The boat

A wave you can ride without a rope.

2024Supreme ZS232
23′2″Length
4,900lb ballast

Six pumped ballast zones, transom plates that flip the wave side to side in under two seconds, and a tower that'll hold whatever you pick.

The whole cockpit from above, tower to bow: white seating, the Supreme deck mat and both windshields.

Where you meet me

Two ways to do this.

Come to me in Shell Knob and we start at my location. That's the cheaper way - you're paying for fuel, and it's less of it.

Or I'll come get you at wherever you're staying on the lake. Costs more in fuel. Some people would rather not mess with the drive, and I get that.

What the day is

You tell me what you want out of it and I'll build the day around that.

Some groups want to surf all afternoon. Some want one lap, a cove, and four hours of nothing. Most want a bit of both and change their mind at lunch. That's fine - it's your day.

I'll teach anybody who wants to learn. Most people are up on the board inside a few tries.

A rope swing off a limestone bluff, mid-drop toward green water.

Under all of it

There was a river here first.

The dam was finished in 1958. The lake came up over the White River, the town of Oasis and the 1927 Kimberling bridge. The bridge is still down there, under the Highway 13 crossing. Some of the oaks in the Enchanted Forest still break the surface.

Credentials

Licensed. Insured. In writing.

Licensed United States Coast Guard Master Captain. Insured with a commercial charter policy - not a recreational boat policy. Operating under the Army Corps' charter expectations for Table Rock, in writing.

First time on a boat like this

That's the normal case.

You don't need a boating license to ride - that requirement lands on whoever's operating the boat. You don't need to bring anything but a swimsuit and a towel.

Questions

How many people can come?

Tell me your group and I'll tell you if it works.

What if nobody in the group has surfed?

Normal. Most groups I take out have one person who's done it and three who haven't, and by the afternoon you can't tell which was which.

What do I bring?

Swimsuit, towel, sunscreen. Whatever you want to eat or drink. That's it.

Do you go out in the rain?

Sometimes. Rain by itself isn't weather. Lightning is.
