What this site keeps
Short version: I keep what you send me so I can answer you and run the trip. I don't sell it and I don't pass it on.
When you ask about a date
The request form asks for your name, your email, a phone number if you want to give one, the date you have in mind, how long, how many are coming, and anything else you want to tell me. I use it to write back to you about the trip. It comes to me as an email, and it's saved so I can find it again.
If you tick the box to hear about openings, I keep that too, and I'll only email you now and then. Tell me to stop any time and I will.
When you send it, the site also notes the time, your internet (IP) address and the browser you used. That's a record that the request really came from you, and it keeps anyone from flooding the form.
The pre-trip form
Everyone coming out fills in the pre-trip form before the day. It asks for your name, date of birth, email and phone, how well you swim, anything medical I should know about, someone to call in an emergency, and the names and birthdays of any kids you're bringing. You sign it by typing your name.
I keep the signed form, the exact wording you agreed to, when you signed, your IP address and your browser. A signed waiver is a legal record, and a question about a trip can come up years later, so I hold on to them.
Only I can see these forms, along with the people who build and look after this website for me.
Counting visits
The site counts its own visits so I can tell what's working. The counting is done by 2K Web Developments, who built the site, on their own system. Nobody else's.
It notes which page was opened, the country the visit came from, whether it was a phone or a computer, which website sent you here if any, a campaign tag on the link if it had one, and when someone taps to call, text, email or send a request.
It doesn't use cookies. It doesn't keep your IP address. It doesn't fingerprint your device or try to work out who you are, and it can't tell one visitor from the next.
Like every website, this one runs on servers (Cloudflare's) that see your IP address in order to send you the page.
